FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kissimmee PrideFest and Proud in the Cloud Unite to Launch Osceola Pride 2026

KISSIMMEE, FL — Two of Osceola County's leading LGBTQ+ community organizations,

Kissimmee PrideFest and St. Cloud's Proud in the Cloud, have officially joined forces to

create a unified celebration: Osceola Pride 2026, taking place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Osceola Heritage Park.

This historic collaboration marks a new chapter for the LGBTQ+ community in Osceola County, bringing together years of advocacy, community engagement, and Pride celebrations under one banner. By combining resources, volunteers, and community partnerships, Osceola Pride aims to create a larger, more impactful event that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and equality for all.

The formation of Osceola Pride comes at a pivotal moment for Florida communities. Following the passage of new legislation that will prohibit Florida cities and counties from financially supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) events beginning in January 2027, local organizations and community leaders are stepping forward to ensure Pride celebrations continue to thrive through grassroots support, private partnerships, and community-driven initiatives.

To help secure the future of Pride in Osceola County, Joshua Collins, President and Founder

of Adopt With Pride Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, has stepped in as the

official fiscal sponsor for Osceola Pride. Through this partnership, proceeds raised through

Osceola Pride will directly support the mission of the Adopt With Pride Foundation, which

provides financial assistance, resources, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ individuals and families pursuing child adoption.

Organizers are also proud to announce that the future of Pride in Osceola County has already been secured through 2028. In addition to the inaugural Osceola Pride celebration on June 28, 2026, future events have been scheduled for June 25, 2027, and June 27, 2028, at Osceola Heritage Park. This long-term commitment demonstrates the strength of community partnerships and ensures that LGBTQ+ residents, families, and allies will continue to have a vibrant and welcoming space to celebrate Pride for years to come.

"Pride has always been about community coming together to support one another," said Joshua Collins. "By uniting our local Pride organizations and connecting this event to the life-changing work of Adopt With Pride, we're creating an opportunity to celebrate who we are while helping LGBTQ+ families build brighter futures. By securing future Pride celebrations through 2028, we're sending a clear message that Pride in Osceola County is here to stay."

Organizers believe the merger will not only strengthen the annual Pride celebration but also

create year-round opportunities for community engagement, education, family support, and

advocacy throughout Osceola County. Osceola Pride 2026 will feature live entertainment, local vendors, community organizations, family-friendly activities, food, and opportunities for residents and visitors alike to celebrate the rich diversity of Central Florida's LGBTQ+ community and allies.

"Together, we are stronger. Together, we are building a Pride celebration that reflects the

resilience, unity, and spirit of Osceola County."
