Guide Dogs for the Blind Evaluation at Scheels
Just received news from Vicki about Tux’s progress in the program. Tux had his evaluation at Scheels on February 25, 2016 and…
"He passed with flying colors!"

More fun at Scheels.

Tux will now progress to the next stage in the program. He could be called back the Guide Dogs for the Blind headquarters in San Rafael, California as soon as May of this year. Tux will be taught advanced training as long as he continues to pass each level. Click this link to learn exactly what Tux must be able to do in order to graduate advanced training!
Cody and I secretly hope that Tux would fail so that we could keep him when we returned to the United States. But, of course we are very happy and proud that he has been so successful thus far. We’ll always remember our moments with him – how he made us laugh, cry, and filled our home with love. As a career dog, Tux will help someone in so many ways and be a wonderful companion.
Great Job Tux!
