Discovering Treasure in the Form of Jpeg
Five years ago, I found an old digital camera in my husband’s locker from his days in Afghanistan. On it were some photos of base camp and his fellow soldiers. Only one image was a self-portrait (of just 2 MB), which showed me what he actually looked like at the time.
I immediately cherished this photo of my husband and couldn’t help uploading it into Lightroom to give it a few tweaks that it deserved. Today, I am so grateful for that digital camera I found – because now, his future son will be able to see why mommy thinks he’s such a badass!
Happy Veteran's Day to all of our veterans.
